New Years Eve in KC 2017
If you’re ready to brave some extra cold weather this weekend, there are several ways to ring in the New Year and celebrate, family-friendly style!
December 30
- WonderEve: Ring in the “Noon Year” from 9am-noon at Wonderscope! Balloon entertainment, Mr. Stinky Feet concert, and an all out New Year’s celebration! Tickets are limited to the first 500 to enter WonderScope that morning.
December 31
- New Year’s Eve Party at Paradise Park: Ring in the New Year early with the legendary Ball Drop at Paradise Park’s Foam Factory. Have a blast with friends and family. This rocking New Year’s Eve party is an early-evening, totally kid-friendly celebration. Register to win awesome door prizes that you can use all year long! Noon-6pm at Paradise Park. FYI, you can enjoy a different Paradise Park Winter Holiday Special every day of Winter Break, through Jan. 3!
- Noon Year’s Eve at Science City: Join Science City for the 5th Annual Noon Year’s Eve, noon-7pm. Noon Year’s Eve offers tons of fun with special projects, guests and tons of things to learn and see for children of all ages.
- Zoo Year’s Eve: Ring in the new year Zoo-style, 10am-2 pm at the Kansas City Zoo! Penguins, polar bears, and many more animals will enjoy festive enrichment items, while visitors dance to the beats of the interactive DJ, make a noise maker and capture a memory in the photo booth!
And it’s not exactly New Year’s Eve-related, but Paradise Park has the Ginormous Gingerbread House Party from noon-5pm Saturday and Sunday.
