Happy Birthday to Us! KC Kids Fun is ONE!

One year ago today, KC Kids Fun posted its first article. There have been 142 more articles about Kansas City kids’ activities here since then. Can you believe it’s been a year?! We can’t…

One March morning last year, Kiran and I were trading text messages about writing and blogging. And a website for kids’ activities in Kansas City was thrown out for discussion. We knew immediately that our friends would love a site where all the information was collected and organized for the picking. So, with kids screaming in the car and pulling at our legs in the kitchen, we hatched our plan.

KC Kids Fun was born. Now, a year later, we’ve had overwhelming response and growth. You like us! You really, really like us!

We have to thank KC Web Geeks for keeping us running and looking good. And our wonderful advertising partners Sprint Center, Kansas City Allergy & Asthma, Wonderscope Children’s Museum, Kansas City Child Learning Center and DiMartino Photography. We appreciate the faith you have in us and our readers!

Big thanks also to the folks over at the Fox 4 Morning Show. We’ve made quarterly appearances since last June and have always felt very welcomed by Tracy, Loren, Mark and everyone!

And, finally, the biggest thank you of all goes to our readers. Your response to this website has been energizing, amazing and overwhelming. You inspire us to work hard on this site every day! Our email subscribers, Facebook fans and Twitter followers are the biggest and best public relations team that any business could ever find. You are awesome and I can’t explain how much your readership means to us!
