The Englewood Arts District, WestIN Connection, Englewood Business Association and the Independence Square Association have collaborated to bring a FREE event to the community. The public is invited to participate in connecting The Englewood Arts District to the Independence Square with sidewalk chalk art. Families, individuals, pros and amateur artists are encouraged to participate. Start your art on Friday August the 21 at 5:00pm and have it completed by Sunday the 23 at 12:00pm. Englewood Arts will reveal a 30 ft. mural on Friday, August 21 as part of the Third Friday Art Walk at 6:30pm. Watch live chalk demos on the Independence Square on Saturday, August 22. Starting time TBD, depending on weather.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own chalk.
