KC Pumpkin Patches 2017

Pumpkin picking is in full swing, and in case you missed it on our blog a few weeks ago, here’s a fantastic list of places to get your pumpkin-picking fix. Many of these pumpkin patches have lots of other fun activities to go along with the picking.

General Listings

Northland:

Alldredge Orchards (Platte City) – apples, pumpkins, playground and more!

Carolyn’s Country Cousins (Liberty, MO) – pumpkin patch and educational farm, petting farm, corn dig, wagon rides, train rides and more.

Liberty Corn Maze (Liberty, MO) – nothing to pick, but four large corn mazes to run through for some autumn fun!

Pumpkins, Etc. (Platte City, MO) – pumpkins, mums, haystacks and fall decor

Red Barn Farm (Weston, MO) – pumpkins, animals, hayrides and corn maze

Faulkner’s Pumpkin Farm (Kansas City, MO – south of I-470) – a TON of family-friendly fun! Open October 1-31

Eastern Jackson County, MO:

Sibley Orchards (Sibley, Jackson County, MO) – apples, pumpkins, hayrides & cider!

Cass County, MO (just south of KCMO):

The Berry Patch (just south of Leawood & Martin City) – u-pick blackberries still available

Dunn’s Cider Mill (Belton, MO) – cider and donuts!

Johnson Farms (Belton, MO) – you pick pumpkins, playground, animals and more!

Shuck’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch (Pleasant Hill, MO) – HUGE cornfield maze, pumpkins and variety of activities

Johnson County, KS:

Blue Valley Recreation Annual Family Fall Festival: Saturday, October 21, 2017, 1-4pm at the Rec Complex, fields 2-4, 9701 W. 137th St., Overland Park, KS. Ages 9 and under. Games, face painting, petting zoo, huge kites, horse-drawn hayrides, clowns, inflatables, petting zoo & ice cream! First 500 registered receive a pumpkin and a treat bucket. $5; non residents: $6. Register by calling 913.685.6000 or online.

Deanna Rose Farmstead Pumpkin Hollow – horse-drawn hayride, hay slide, kids activities and pumpkins

KC Pumpkin Patch (Olathe, KS) – Pumpkins and tons of entertainment: slide, goat walk, zip lines, gourd gun, farm games and more; new location in Olathe at 13875 S. Gardner Rd

Miami County, KS (just south of Johnson County, KS):

Louisburg Cider Mill and Country Store (Louisburg, KS) – pumpkin patch, corn maze, cider, donuts and fun activities!

Powell Pumpkin Patch (Louisburg, KS) – you pick pumpkins, playground, hayrides, corn maze

Douglas County, KS (just west of Johnson County, KS):

Pendleton’s Country Market (Lawrence, KS) – pick your own pumpkins and more

Schaakes Pumpkin Patch (Lawrence, KS) – you pick pumpkins, hayrides, mazes, animals

Wyandotte County, KS:

Kerby Farm Pumpkin Patch (Bonner Springs, KS) – pumpkins, corn maze, tractor pull
